The PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKCW) was established in 1963 under the auspices of the GRG Trust. PSGRKCW is an AICTE recognized institute accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is affiliated with Bharathiar University. The campus of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Over the past 60 years, PSGRKCW has grown into a full-fledged first-grade postgraduate research institution.
PSGRKCW has also awarded with ‘College of Excellence by UGC in 2016 and has been ranked 10 in the country by NIRF 2020 ranking. The college has also been ranked 5 among government and government-aided colleges in ARIIA 2020.

PSGR Krishnammal College for Women was the first women's college in the region to begin offering MA Literature in 1969, BCom in 1970, and BBM in 1987. In 1993-94, the college began offering MBA courses exclusively for women.
PSGRKCW offers 32 UG, 13 PG and 13 MPhil/PhD programmes in arts, science, commerce, business administration, management, and computer science. The MBA course of PSGRKCW has also been internationally accredited by the ACBSP, USA.
PSGR Krishnammal College for Women has a sprawling campus with all state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern facilities to enhance educational quality.
